Abstract

Correspondence, 1837-1850, financial papers, 1822-1849, and legal papers, 1838-1847, of Thomas Hughes, merchant of Wheeling, Ohio County, W. Va. The correspondence includes letters from Boonville, Mo., and New Albany, Ind., concerning business dealings. Among the financial papers is an account, 1846, for materials supplied to the steamboat "Santa Fe."
